Masayoshi Ito is the founder of the firm with extensive
experience in international project management. Born in Tokyo,
he graduated from Nihon University, College of Science and
Technology, and was associated for several years as a structural
engineer with Nikken Sekkei, a well known architectural firm.
He moved to the United States in 1985, studied at the University
of California, Santa Barbara, and in 1989 graduated from the
acclaimed Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California.
After graduating he joined Barry Design Associates, a leading
hotel design firm and in 1991 became a project director.
During this time, Mr. Ito participated in numerous hotel,
restaurant and residential projects, domestic and abroad,
including projects for Imperial Hotel Osaka, 1996, Sheraton
Maui Hotel, 1996, Hotel Nikko Tokyo, 1996, Crest Hotel Tachikawa
and Eureka Restaurant at Imperial Hotel Tokyo.
